After locking in a decent lead on the first two rounds the pace quickly changed once more and more of the Opfor mechs were destroyed. Leading to the PC squad having more field control and winning out the clock.

After the combat is over Underbarron Iphianassa meets with the students and talks strategy with them, requiring the losing team to write a report on there missteps. After the Underbarron takes her leave, Zurvan Grereus also chews into the Opfor team pointing out each of their failings in great detail. Some accept this criticism with open ears, while others call this a simple game and not worth over analyzing.
Beat 4 - Down To Business

Zurvan Grereus
- Naturally talented in Tactical Syllabus, working hard in the Technical Syllabus to better his skills, and is struggling to find an interest in the Noble Arts Syllabus
- Attempt to make specialty ammo work with his Super Heavy weapon
- Working with Kay, Lord Aloysius Veredus Flyte, and maybe Stablemaster Imani Rudilis to do so

- Underplays knowledge in Tactical Syllabus, actively participate in Technical Syllabus, and struggles fitting into the Noble Arts Syllabus

Technical Syllabus class
Field Servicing in Practice: Making repairs in under adverse conditions, with limited time materals, and tooling
Stablemaster Imani Rudilis and TA Kay ran a class where student pairs had to repair mech chassis arm joints, using few tools & materials, all the while an active combat exercise was happening just steps away past the dueling fields force barrier.
Zurvan Grereus working with Lady Kiriona managed to decent progress only just finishing the repair in the allotted time. Lending its strength to Zurvan Grereus’s engineering skills and resourcefulness.
Laria Cannamos working with Lord Aloysius Veredus Flyte completed the exercise with flying colors, finishing long before everyone else. Though Laria Cannamos did run off with the extra time to go to the bathroom, which Stablemaster Imani Rudilis was not very happy about…
Sirlis Haught working with Captain Hedros Nadeer finished the exercise only by the skin of their teeth. Sirlis Haught successfully stole some of the tools from Count Argo-Laurent & Lord Praya-Cannamos bench during prep time, which gave him an advantage. But when the timer rang and both were certain that they had not finished the repairs. Though wildly when Stablemaster Imani Rudilis went to test it had worked! (Laria Cannamos’s bathroom break was them going invisible and helping to finish the repairs while Stablemaster Imani Rudilis was testing the others)
Primor Vivian & Valentine Reis being split up and working with Lord Praya-Cannamos and Count Argo-Laurent failed the exercise quite miserably, partially caused by Sirlis Haught’s intervention and causing some humiliation and disappointment from Stablemaster Imani Rudilis.
Blueprint mysteries with Lord Aloysius Veredus Flyte
After a successful class with Laria Cannamos, Lord Aloysius Veredus Flyte invites the PC’s to continue their prior discussion about the blackwash blueprints. After some further investigation by the party they appear to find a hole in the design that would make it impossible to control the nanites should this be constructed. Using Zurvan Grereus’s engineering insight, Laria Cannamos’s software skills, and comparing existing blueprints with Kay and Sirlis Haught the PC’s discover some type of coded message around this hole in the design. Agreeing to come back later, Laria Cannamos tasks her NHP with solving this coded message.
After a few days Laria Cannamos’s NHP comes back with a solution to this hole, and its simply dumping the number 42 into the center of it. After a brief nod of a approval from Stablemaster Imani Rudilis, Laria Cannamos is now the proud owner of a new mech!

With continuing suspicion about Eligos, Sirlis Haught decides to spend some of his free time seeking out information about the schools NHP.
First stop was to Stablemaster Imani Rudilis, where they discussed the rough history of the NHP and its capabilities. Leaving after managing to NOT make a fool of him self after ‘helping repair’ Stablemaster Imani Rudilis personal mech.
Next up was a research session about NHP’s and the school more generally.
And finally Sirlis Haught managed to plant an audio recording device near the Archchancellor Sigune Zoeva office, borrowing Laria Cannamos stealth hardsuit, hopping to overhear some juicy details from her.
